According the Nielsen SoundScan data,
CD sales in US have declined 20% in the first quarter of 2007 compared
to same period in 2006. Only 89 million CDs were sold from the start
of 2007 till March 18 and in the first quarter of 2006 the figure
was 112 million units. Are the music pirates winning the battle?
We have to stop music piracy. It depends of us.
We believe that we must fight the war against piracy by educating
people. I love music I buy music foundation is a non profitable
organization that looks for the support of society in its struggle
against piracy in the music industry. This foundation promotes events,
seminars and conferences around the world to raise awareness on
this issue.
